TOCHUKWU OGAYI has been named in the SPFL Team of the Week for his performance against Falkirk.
The Alloa shot stopper was back to his entertaining best on Saturday, with his time wasting frustrating the home crowd as Alloa came close to stopping the Bairns from going invincible.
Aside from his entertainment value, Ogayi pulled off some impressive stops in his side’s 2-2 draw, making the hosts wait until the 85th minute to find an equaliser.
The SPFL Team of the Week was chosen by Craig Fowler from A View from the Terrace, who hailed the Nigerian’s performance.
He said: “Alloa shuffled the pack for their final regular season match against Falkirk with the Wasps having one eye on their cinch Championship play-off first leg with Hamilton Accies.
“They led 2-0 against the champions and while the Bairns would fight back to earn a 2-2 draw, Ogayi frustrated the home side with several strong saves.”
