To celebrate Andy Murray’s fantastic Gold Medal in Rio, the Adam Brown Tennis Academy is offering free classes and squads at the Gleneagles Arena for the week beginning Monday, August 29.

The Academy offers 20 classes a week at the Gleneagles Arena. There is everything from Tots Tennis for 3-5 year-olds right up to classes for advanced club players and squads for tournament players as well as adult classes for all abilities and also Girls Only classes.

There is something on every day of the week and all sessions are taken by highly qualified and experienced coaches.

The Gleneagles Arena has four indoor courts so the weather is never an issue. These indoor courts are available to hire by the public, there is no membership required, so there is no excuse for not playing.

Head coach Adam Brown said: "I’m delighted we are able to offer a week of free tennis. Andy Murray’s wins at both Wimbledon and at the Olympics have inspired people of all ages to pick up a racket.

"We are able to offer everyone the opportunity to play tennis and the benefit of holding the classes at the fantastic facilities at the Gleneagles Arena is that they can go ahead whatever the weather.

"I’m looking forward to introducing the game to a new generation of players as well as continuing to help those that already play to improve.”
